Sportstourismindonesia – Bali, 11 November 2024 – Dr. Jusuf Kalla, mantan Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia yang menjabat pada periode ke-10 dan ke-12, menerima penghargaan bergengsi “Legacy and Life Time Achievement Award” dari World Council of Preventive, Regenerative & Anti-Aging Medicine (WOCPM). Penghargaan ini diberikan dalam acara pembukaan Kongres Internasional WOCPM di Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Bali, sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas kontribusi besar Jusuf Kalla dalam memajukan ilmu kedokteran preventif dan inovasi teknologi stem cell di dunia.
Penghargaan tersebut diserahkan langsung oleh Prof. Dr. Deby Vinski, Presiden Kongres WOCPM, bersama sejumlah tokoh kedokteran internasional seperti Prof. Dr. Svetlana Trofimova, Prof. Jaime Rodriguez, Prof. Eric Fabiano, dan Prof. Elena Baranova dari Monako, serta Dr. Eugene dari Swiss. Para tokoh kedokteran tersebut menekankan bahwa peran Jusuf Kalla dalam mendukung perkembangan kedokteran preventif global sangat signifikan, serta menjadi inspirasi bagi inovasi di bidang stem cell.
Dalam pidatonya, Prof. Deby Vinski, yang dikenal sebagai Queen of Anti-Aging, mengungkapkan bahwa Jusuf Kalla telah menjadi Penasehat Kehormatan WOCPM selama 14 tahun dan tidak pernah ragu mendukung berbagai kegiatan kongres internasional.
“Pak JK adalah sosok yang sangat peduli pada perdamaian dan kesehatan global,” ujar Deby.
Ia juga menggarisbawahi bahwa jasa Jusuf Kalla telah menginspirasi 74 negara anggota WOCPM dalam memajukan kedokteran preventif dan teknologi stem cell.
Didampingi oleh istrinya, Hj. Mufidah Jusuf Kalla, yang kerap disebut sebagai “Mama JK” oleh Prof. Deby, Jusuf Kalla menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya. Penghargaan tersebut, menurutnya, menjadi motivasi untuk terus berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan kedokteran preventif, regenerative, dan anti-aging.
Selain menerima penghargaan, Jusuf Kalla melantik Global Health Leader Summit dan meluncurkan WOCPM Medical Journal. Beliau juga menyaksikan penandatanganan MOU antara WOCPM dengan RS Bali Mandara, RS Sentra Medica, AHCI, dan beberapa institusi lain untuk akreditasi stem cell. CELLTECH dinyatakan sebagai “Centre of Excellence Stem Cell di Asia Pasifik” karena memiliki sistem Quality Control dan Validasi terbaik. Juga MOU dengan Swiss Biotech Geneva sehingga pasien Swiss dapat ditetapi di Celltech maupun di Geneva keduanya terakreditasi WOCS
Prof. Dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Penasehat Khusus Presiden RI Bidang Kesehatan Nasional, dan Prof. Ali Ghufron, Ketua BPJS, turut hadir sebagai pembicara. Prof. Deby menyimpulkan, “Legacy Pak JK sangat berharga dan akan menjadi inspirasi bagi generasi mendatang untuk memajukan perdamaian dan kesehatan global.”
